Full-Stack Developer (Mobile + API)
Overview
X-Change is a mobile eCommerce app for browsing and purchasing clothing across men’s and women’s categories. The focus was a smooth, familiar shopping flow on phones: fast category browsing, product detail pages with variants, a persistent cart, and a clear checkout path. I delivered both the React Native app and the Node.js backend supporting it.
My Role
- Designed and implemented the mobile UI with React Native (navigation, theming, list virtualization).
- Built the backend with Node.js/Express and MongoDB for products, users, carts, and orders.
- Added authentication/authorization (JWT), validation, and error handling across API endpoints.
- Optimized app performance (memoized lists, batched updates) for smooth scrolling and quick load times.

- Basic analytics hooks for funnel tracking (browse → PDP → cart → order).
