Privacy & Confidentiality Policy

My Commitment
I respect your privacy and the confidentiality of your business. I do not share client code, ideas, documents, private repos or project details with anyone without explicit permission. From the moment we agree to work together, I operate with an NDA mindset—even if a separate NDA is not signed.
Scope
This policy applies to information shared via this website, email, calls/chats, and throughout our work together.
What I Collect
- Contact info you provide (name, email, phone).
- Project materials (requirements, design files, code repos/access if needed).
- Communication logs (email/chat) for project tracking.
I do not request sensitive personal info by default. If ever required, it is handled securely and only with your instruction.
How I Use Your Data
- To respond to inquiries and maintain communication.
- For planning, development, testing, delivery and support.
- For invoicing/accounting where legally required.
I do not use your code or business logic for personal or commercial gain.
Confidentiality
- All non-public materials are treated as confidential.
- No third-party sharing without your consent (except as required by law).
- Portfolio/case studies are published only with your permission; sensitive parts are masked where needed.
- Code ownership: unless otherwise agreed in contract, ownership transfers to the client upon full payment.
- Subcontractors are used only with your prior consent and bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
Access & Security
- Least-privilege access; credentials stored securely.
- Separate development/staging/production environments.
- Access is revoked after off-boarding; encrypted backups with limited retention.
Third-Party Services
Standard tools (e.g., GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, Vercel/AWS, Figma, Slack/Email) may be used as needed, each under its own privacy policy. Only necessary data is uploaded.
Cookies/Analytics
This site uses minimal functional cookies. If analytics are enabled, they are used in aggregate form without personal identification. You can control cookies via your browser.
Retention
Contact/invoice records are retained per legal and accounting needs. Project files and backups are retained only for the project duration or as you instruct. On request, I securely delete my copies after handover.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at faheem4531@gmail.com.
Children
Services are not directed to children; I do not knowingly collect children’s data.
International Transfers
I work with clients globally; transfers may occur accordingly, while maintaining confidentiality and security standards.
Changes
This policy may be updated over time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.
Mutual Confidentiality (Clause)
Both parties agree that all non-public information exchanged (including but not limited to source code, credentials, business logic, design files, and communications) is confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent, except as required by law. Freelancer may use subcontractors only with Client’s prior consent and shall ensure they are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations.
