Overview

Sofa & Rattan is a furniture brand focused on comfortable, stylish home pieces—with an emphasis on clean presentation and easy shopping for sofas, rattan items, and living-room sets. The platform includes a performant storefront, a custom admin panel for merchandisers, Stripe-based payments, order emails via NodeMailer, and a MongoDB-backed catalogue. The stack is modern Next.js with TypeScript and MUI for a scalable component system.

My Role

• End-to-end delivery: Architected and implemented both the storefront and the back-office.
• Payments & checkout: Integrated Stripe (Payment Intents, 3DS/SCA) with clear error/retry states.
• Admin tooling: Built a custom dashboard for products, categories, inventory, orders, and coupons.
• Ops & notifications: Order confirmations/updates via NodeMailer; export/report views for staff.
• Performance & SEO: SSR/SSG, image optimization, schema/meta for better organic reach.
